Find Out More About Our Vinyl Lettering Process
Surface preparation
All surfaces must be considered dirty and must be cleaned prior to the application of markings.
Clean the area where the markings are to be applied with a household cleaner, a non‑ammonia base. We recommend an alcohol based cleaner such as denatured alcohol or equivalent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
When applying vinyl lettering to painted surfaces, paint should be an enamel base paint. We do not recommend or guarantee applications to latex paint.
Temperature requirements
Air and application surface temperatures must be above 40 degrees.
See Alternative instructions for horizontal hinge method.
